Orlando is coming off last night's 87-56 loss at Boston, as it shot a dreadful 24.6 percent from the floor and made only 4-of-16 three-pointers. Howard was the only player in double figures for the Magic, finishing with 18 points and 14 rebounds.

Orlando set franchise lows for points, field goals (16) and field goal percentage (24.6). The Magic are 5-3 away from home and will close out a quick two-game road trip this evening against the Pacers. Howard, meanwhile, posted his fourth straight double-double on Monday and is only eight points shy of passing Nick Anderson to become the teams all-time leading scorer. Anderson, who played 10 seasons with the Magic from 1989-99, stands at the top of the list with 10,650 points.

(Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Miami Heat will finish a five-game homestand by welcoming the Cavaliers and the new face of their franchise, Kyrie Irving, to the shores of Biscayne Bay. Cleveland, of course, was the NBA home of superstar LeBron James for the first seven years of his career before the All-Star "took his talents to South Beach" before last season. James was a two-time NBA MVP with the Cavs, a former scoring champion and led the team to the 2007 NBA Finals before the Cavs succumbed to the San Antonio Spurs.

A favorite to win the championship again, Miami has been a bit uneven early in the season, compiling a solid, if unspectacular 11-5 mark.

The Heat have been without star guard Dwyane Wade during their current residency but won the first three tests before finally slipping on Sunday to Milwaukee. Brandon Jennings scored 23 points, dished out six assists and pulled down six rebounds in that one, leading the Bucks to the 91-82 win.

"Give them credit, they came in here and got a tough win," Miami head coach Erik Spoelstra said. "They did a great job of moving the ball and finding open gaps and cutting into open areas behind our defense."

Cleveland, meanwhile, continues to rebuild in the wake of James' departure. Overall, the club has been much more competitive this season but has dropped a season-high three in a row after a 121-94 drubbing at the hands of the Hawks in the ATL on Saturday.

"That's just a learning experience for us," Irving said. "Play two great teams and just seeing things they do offensively and defensively, I think we all can learn something from it."

"I thought this week coming up was going to test us," Cavs coach Byron Scott said. "We'll see how these guys can handle it after the last two nights. Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom to learn, but I don't think we're anywhere near rock bottom yet. Last year we lost 26 in a row, so hopefully we won't see that streak start again."

The Heat and Cavaliers are meeting for the first of three matchups this season. In 2010-11, Miami took three of four from the Cavs.

(Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Memphis Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins has been pushing all the right buttons lately to the tune of a seven-game winning streak. Hollins hopes to be on point at the controls once again when his team resumes a four-game road trip tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers. Memphis has ripped off a season-best seven straight wins and one more victory will match a franchise-best run from Jan. 11-25, 2004. The team escaped with a one-point win its last time out in a 91-90 decision at Golden State on Monday, as Rudy Gay led the charge with 23 points and Mike Conley posted 20 and nine assists. Marc Gasol added 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies, who erased a 20-point deficit in the second half and scored 13 points off nine turnovers in the fourth quarter.

Memphis is also 9-3 since All-Star forward Zach Randolph went down on January 1 with a torn MCL. Randolph is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks of action.

Brandon Roy Favorite to Win 2007 NBA Rookie of the Year

Portland TrailBlazer’s guard, Brandon Roy, is MySportsbook.com’s overwhelming favorite to win the NBA Rookie of the Year odds.

Despite missing 20 games due to an injury earlier this season, Roy has definitely put up the best numbers of his 1st year peers. In 32 games, Roy is averaging 15.3 PPG, 4.2 boards and 3.5 assists in over 33 minutes of play per game. While most rookies breakdown as the season progresses (see Morrison), Roy is only getting stronger as his playing time and scoring average has increased each month.

With 30 or so games left in the regular season, Roy isn’t a lock for the award by any means. Other rookies are putting together some pretty impressive campaigns and a few could give Roy a run for the award with increased playing time. Heading the list is first pick, Andrea Bargnani of the Toronto Raptors. Even though he has started only two games all season, Bargnani is averaging 10.3 PPPG while shooting 35% from deep.

Randy Foye of the Minnesota Timberwolves could be set to give Roy the best competition NBA Rookie of the Year betting lines. With the benching of Mike James, Foye looks like he could be the starter in the T-Wolves backcourt for the rest of the season. So far, Foye has averaged 9 PPG and 2.4 assists in just under 21 minutes per game. With his new role of starter, Foye’s numbers will definitely increase. In his first game as the new starting guard this past Sunday, Foye had 10 points; five rebounds and 8 assists. More importantly, he logged 34 minutes of playing time; his third highest run of the season.

Adam Morrison, of the Charlotte Bobcats, was the favorite early on in the season after averaging 15+ PPG through the first month of the season. Ever since his torrid start, Morrison’s point production has declined each month. This really isn’t surprising, considering at 6’8” he only weighs 205 lbs. Obviously he will need to hit the weights big time during the off-season in order to keep from breaking down in the future.

NFL Football Betting : Odds on NFL Division to Win the Super Bowl

NFL Super Bowl Betting

The AFC South and the NFC East are the favorite divisions to have the next Super Bowl champ among them in the NFL betting odds. But more down to the point, these football odds are in favor of the Indianapolis Colts, by far the strongest team in the AFC South, and the Dallas Cowboys of the NFC East.

Most sports fans would agree that these two teams top the list to win it all before the season even begins. In the BetUS Sportsbook football futures, the Colts are +800 in the odds to win the Super Bowl, while the Cowboys are sitting at +1000 and the Super Bowl XLIV champions New Orleans Saints at +900. In the AFC South, the Colts won the division for five straight years after the 2002 realignment, before the Tennessee Titans won it in 2008. But the Colts came back strong in 2009 to win the division again en route to the Super Bowl. The Cowboys are the favorite to win the NFC East, as well as to advance far into the post season. The Cowboys won the division last season before their horrendous loss in the NFC Divisional playoff to Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings. But the ‘Boys will take that loss humbly and be ready for the playoffs this time around.

The NFC South is also very strong, at +600 in the NFL futures, considering that it is home to the defending Super Bowl champions. However, some predictions have the Atlanta Falcons with possibilities of claiming the divisional title this season in place of the Saints, as no team has won back-to-back division championships since the division realignment took place. Let’s not overlook the AFC North at +500. As TO goes to Cincinnati to join Chad OchoCinco and Adam “Pac-Man” Jones, this team looks to claim the division title again. And it is likely they will do so. The Bengals lost in the AFC Wild Card spot in a hard-fought battle against the New York Jets last season. Lest not forget the Pittsburgh Steelers, the XLII Super Bowl Champions… All these teams present interesting odds and matchups for the upcoming season, but the safest and surest bet seems to be with the Colts in the AFC South and the Cowboys in the NFC East.
